A JOURNEY ALONG THE THE EMERALD RIVER

The sun glistened warmly upon my face as I embarked/began/started my journey along the vibrant River. Imposing trees lined the banks, their leaves rustling in the gentle breeze. A canopy of green foliage filtered the sunlight, casting dappled shadows upon the sparkling waters below. The river itself was a stream of jade green, winding through the
